It’s back-to-school season and many parents are busy shopping and lining up physicals required for athletics. Here’s another to-do for the list: mental health checkup. Many students are returning to the classroom for the first time in over a year because of the pandemic. Many are behind academically because of online learning and have anxiety about going to school in person.They might have social anxiety. Our recent teacher survey shows the pitfalls of online learning. They might suffer from depression or other mental health issues.
