Jenn Blaser, RD, LD, always knew she loved science and the human body. She started college on a pre-med track, but a second passion kept tugging at her—cooking and baking. It wasn’t long before she realized her true calling combined both worlds: nutrition.

That decision bloomed into a rewarding career that now spans a decade. Jenn is a Registered Dietitian at Hy-Vee with dual offices in Waukee and West Des Moines, Iowa, and she’s been bringing food, wellness, and community together ever since.
A Career That Blends Clinical Smarts with Grocery Store Savvy
Jenn earned both a Nutrition Science and Dietetics degree from Iowa State University, completing her internship through ISU’s distance program. But it was during her community rotation at Hy-Vee that everything clicked.

Fast-forward ten years, and Jenn has found her sweet spot.
“I truly have the best of all worlds. I get to provide individualized counseling in the office and support shoppers right in the aisles… No two days are the same, and I would not have it any other way!”
